Message	if the gasket has to be replaced, then you have to remove the manifold as the gasket goes over the studs just as the manifold does. in the case where you tighten the nuts, we are hoping that the gasket has not been destroyed and there is just a gap between the manifold and the gasket or the head and the gasket. exhaust mani gasket here you can see that the manifold
